A coding project in procedural methods where an atmosphere is simulated with Rayleigh- and Mie-scattering and rendered with WebGL at real-time on web browsers. The major computations are done at the GPU with GLSL shaders.
Apart from the sky the scene also consists of a simple, textured, landscape generated with simplex noise. There is also a GUI where the user can play around with a number of settings to change the scene during run-time.
This project was made as a part of the course TNM084 – Procedural Methods for Images.
